Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC. has an opening for an Account Executive (Vegetation Management Sales). This position is ideal for an experienced sales executive with a hunter mentality and the ability to hit the ground running.

Powered by the vegetation management experts from Celerity’s subsidiary company, Clear Path Utility Solutions (CPUS), our vegetation management division orchestrates an integral, leadership role between construction companies and vegetation field services, providing advanced emergency and non-emergency response services to help utility companies assess, plan, and execute vegetation projects in the field. From construction management to emergency management, quality support and pre-inspections, Clear Path Vegetation Management experts provide hands-on consulting strategy, project management and quality control services to optimize emergency and non-emergency projects as they evolve.

The role of the Account Executive (AE) is to build relationships with new clients and manage relationships with existing ones, serving as point of contact for clients and internal company teams, often interacting with both daily. The AE is an expert communicator, responsible for planning and coordinating account activity, generating sales opportunities, and reporting status of accounts on a regular basis. A successful candidate will build strong client relationships, identify gaps and growth potential, and explore untapped opportunities. This individual’s major focus is to find ways of boosting company’s overall sales and revenue profile, leveraging industry-specific knowledge and company expertise to drive significant sales growth and client satisfaction in the public utility sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal, creating detailed sales and business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Lead Generation: Leveraging industry events, networking, and research to identify public utility organizations that can benefit from CPUS services.
  • Unearth new sales prospects and opportunities through sales intelligence tools, previous account lists and other means
  • Dialing and Emailing: Proactive outreach to potential leads to introduce Clear Path's unique value proposition in the agile risk optimization space.
  • Present CPUS products and services to prospective clients
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships: Cultivating long-term partnerships with stakeholders in the public utility sector, emphasizing collaboration and continuous value delivery.
  • Leverage CPUS SME’s Product Knowledge: Utilizing the deep expertise within Celerity to communicate the benefits and applications of the services accurately.
  • Sales Presentations: Crafting compelling presentations that showcase how Clear Path's services lead to optimized veg management and better decision-making.
  • Negotiating Contracts: Crafting agreements that reflect the value of CPUS services while aligning with client budgets and expectations.
  • Collaborate on Proposals: Developing persuasive proposals that highlight the ROI and operational benefits of CPUS services
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinating with marketing, product development, and customer service to align on client needs and market strategies.
  • Account Management: Ensuring client satisfaction and seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery and upsell where appropriate. Provide professional after-sales support to maximize client loyalty.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Gathering client insights and market data to refine sales strategies, contribute to the company's service evolution and sharpen prospecting and sales strategies.
  • Client Education and Support: Serving as a knowledgeable advisor to clients, ensuring they are informed and capable of leveraging Clear Path Utility Solution's services fully.

Qualifications, Required Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Sales Experience: At least 3 years in B2B/enterprise sales, preferably with exposure to the public utility or similar sectors.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, proficiency in CRM software, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Education: Relevant experience or certifications that demonstrate knowledge in sales, technology, or the utility industry can be advantageous.

  • Compensation: Base Salary + Commission: Meeting targets OTE of $250k and higher, indicating a strong incentive structure aligned with sales performance.
