Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Remote (Work from home eligible) travel may be required. We will prioritize candidates based in the Pacific Northwest. 
Salary: $100K - $115K annually

Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with over 5 years of experience in Field Service Management tools and a strong background in the utilities and energy industries. The ideal candidate will have a consulting background and will play a pivotal role in analyzing client business processes, identifying requirements, and implementing FSM solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Engage with clients to understand and document their business processes, needs, and objectives related to field service operations.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for FSM solutions.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify areas where current systems fall short of client needs.
Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design FSM solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Assist in configuring and customizing FSM tools, particularly OverIT's platform, to meet specific client needs.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
Stakeholder Communication and Management:
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present solutions, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client business processes through the effective use of FSM solutions.
  • Recommend best practices and innovative solutions to improve field service operations and efficiency.
  • Monitor solution performance and suggest enhancements based on data analysis and client feedback.
Training and Support:
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for clients to ensure successful adoption of FSM solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation to address issues and optimize solution usage
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Field Service Management solutions in the utilities and energy industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution implementation.
  • Familiarity with business integration requirements across technology stack (ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, Datawarehouse, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using FSM software platforms; experience with OverIT's solutions is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required and defined per project requirements.
Preferred Skills:
  • Consulting background with experience in client-facing roles and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and Machine Learning as they apply to Field Service Management.
  • Professional certifications related to Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP).
